Our Journey
We spent the last five years of our careers planning to retire in New Mexico and become full time artists. Miraculously, everything we conceived we’d do came true within eighteen months and we are sharing most of it here with you.
We started our business
Built a robust website
Starting doing outdoor art shows and artist tours
Grew a mailing list of supporters and people who want to hear about us
Richard got into a gallery and shows in several states
Cherie got into shops four New Mexico cities!
We joined groups of like-minded creatives and made many new friends
Richard has been in three Santa Fe group shows and was juried into the lobby of the Hotel Andaluz, ABQ
And Cherie realized a 30 year dream of serving as an arts grant panelist for the National Endowment for the arts and started a Bachelor’s Program in Studio Art
What’s Important to Us
We love making things. And we’re going to do it whether you like or buy it. But the experience is so much better when you appreciate what we do and want it in your home! We spend lots of time scouring estate sales, thrift shops, and recycle centers, sharing materials with friends, and repurposing things we already have.
We are committed to having a limited footprint and to not divert things into landfills. If that’s important to you too, please consider making the next gift you give be something from an artist.
