NEW!!! Origin: The Blood of Our Ancestors

$1,500.00

I started this painting after I completed Mirage, I believe in 2020 in Portland, Oregon. I thought it to be finished and called it Mirage 2. I never liked the finished painting and kept it in my “to do” bin. About 18 months ago I painted over several of the areas that i didn’t like, but still lacked the vision to go any further. In late August of 2024, I started it again, and after a month or more, Origin was completed. I had been reading a lot of archeological science fiction in which the origin of our species was quite different than what our history books have told us. It helps to live in New Mexico where strange things happen and anything is possible.
